We know you guys like free!! Whether itās a quick overnight stay or an awesome week in the national forest! Iām going to show you the apps we use to find quick overnight free RV parking all the way up to long 14-day free camping stays. And watch the full video here for a preview of the best free camp spot we have found so far!
Now for our favorite apps for finding free RV camping! Iām not going to mention Harvest Hosts or other membership sites right now, since weāve mentioned them before and they are technically not freeā¦but certainly a favorite of ours.
- All Stays: (Update: I use the Iphone app which is $9.99, but the website version is free). As Iāve mentioned before in our videos, we use the All Stays app or website to find Walmartās, but we also use it to find rest areas, truck stops, and so much more. The app is so user friendly. There is an optional premium version that will unlock more features as well.
- Campendium: I use Campendium to quickly find free spots for RV camping. The app also shows rest areas, dump stations (with the little poop emoji) and regular RV parks.
As a bonus, here are a couple more free apps that I havenāt used much, but I have them ready just in case.
- FreeRoam: This app pulls up a map of the entire US and shows a bunch of free campsites right away! You can also zoom in for more details and pictures.
- BoonDocking: (Update: This app was free but now charges $.99) This app shows a ton of free spots to camp for one or more nights! Check this out! Some people donāt think you can camp for free in Florida, but hop on the app and look at all of these free places to camp in Florida! Cool!
Oh, and if you are just surfing the internet, freecampsites.net is another great resource for finding more free spots to camp!
