We posed a question and then put out a video on it. RV living full-time for under $1000 a month….could you do it? So far it has been our most popular video and has over 100,000 views. We have received so many great comments on that video, but we also had some people say BS. That there is no way it could be done. We also had comments that said they do it for far less than a $1000 a month.
So we decided to challenge ourselves. How cheap can we live in our RV for 30 days. And wow, was it a challenge! We had no idea that it would turn into a 6 part documentary sharing our challenges along the way. So grab some popcorn and your favorite beverage and watch us struggle…haha! Watch the bonus content for the series here! Here are our expenses for the challenge:
I’ve been enjoying your Tube videos over the last couple of weeks and have subscribed! You both have great personalities. One of the things I find very helpful is having the names of places, esp. campgrounds, also printed on the screen bc often articulation doesn’t come across through voice only with background noises.
We are P-T and I’ve never heard anyone discuss the viability of Thousand Trails for part time rv’ers. I know at some point you were going to give your opinion but I don’t know where in the timing of videos that would have happened, or if it has (dates along with subject on each video would be helpful). It would be a great information to know if TT would be worthwhile for part timers. Are they any YouTube RV’er who are part-time (defined by me as three months or less); I haven’t found any but I am still a newbie!
Also, for those of us who live in the Northeast, or midwest, going to FL in winter is the warmest and closest place to go, and one of the most expensive states during Jan Feb and March.
Thanks for listening. I am a fan!
